The Tallahassee Civic Chorale will be holding a fundraiser at Publix Aprons Cooking School from 6:30-8:30 p.m. Thursday, June 9.

The chefs of the Publix Aprons cooking school will demonstrate the preparation of a five-course meal and then serve each course with a wine selected to complement the course.

The theme for this year's Apron's Fundraiser class is "Food for Music Lovers, Especially Chocolate Lovers" and chef Yuri and chef Sergio have come up with a very exciting menu:

Commenting on the theme of the class, Vice-President Lisa Hetrick said, “I was thinking of the song we have sung called "If Music Be the Food of Love" and realized that everyone loves chocolate!”

Tickets are on sale at: tickets.chorusconnection.com. Tickets are $80 for one person, with a $5 discount for two people. Because the chefs need to know how many will be in attendance for the cooking school, the deadline for tickets is 6 p.m. on June 3.

Proceeds from the Aprons fundraising event support the Tallahassee Civic Chorale. Get your tickets to attend this wonderful culinary experience, get to know some of the Chorale members, and plan to attend the summer concert "Anything Goes" on Friday, June 24 at 7:30 in Tallahassee Community College’s Turner Auditorium.
