KNOW BEFORE YOU GO WRISTBAND ACTIVATION: Wristband activation ensures a smooth process when entering the festival each day and allows you to add emergency contact information to your wristband. All you need to do is enter your wristband ID number (located on the inside of your wristband) and contact info to activate. Registration is available here. CASHLESS: Link your wristband to your credit card to buy food, drinks and merch with the tap of your wrist. Register for Cashless with your Discover® Card for a $10 Credit*, which will be applied to your festival wristband good for purchases at Forecastle. FESTIVAL ENTRANCES: Entrances are located near the corners of E Witherspoon and N Preston St and E Witherspoon and N Brook St. VIP and GA+ Ticketholders have dedicated entrances to the festival. Both VIP and GA+ticket holders can enter through marked VIP lanes for quick entrance to the festival. BAG SEARCH AND NO BAG EXPRESS LANES: The safety and security of our fans is our top priority. ALL bags will be searched before entry. The following bags are allowed: ● Clutch bags, waist packs, Fanny packs with no more than one compartment. Clutches must be no larger than 6.5×4.5. ● Empty Hydration packs with no more than two pockets in addition to the Bladder compartment ● Medical and diaper bags ● 1 gallon or smaller clear freezer bags FULL BAG POLICY: ● ALL bags will be searched before entry. ● Small clutch purses and fanny packs that are 4.5″ x 5.5″ or smaller do not need to be clear, but can have no more than one pocket. ● All other bags must be fully CLEAR and made up of clear plastic, vinyl, or pvc, and be no larger than 12″ x 12″ x 6″ ONLY. Bags will be restricted to small purses, totes and drawstring bags only. Backpacks and bags with multiple pockets are prohibited. ● Hydration packs are allowed and do not need to be clear, but must be emptied of all liquid and have no more than two pockets in addition to the one holding the water reservoir. ALLOWED AND PROHIBITED ITEMS A full list of allowed and prohibited items can be found here Reminder: NO LIQUIDS ARE ALLOWED TO BE BROUGHT INTO THE FESTIVAL. Forecastle welcomes music fans of all ages, including kids. Children 10-year-old and younger will be admitted free of charge with a ticket-holding adult. Limit two kids per adult. If your wristband needs to be replaced, there is a $20 Wristband Replacement Fee. Wristband Assistance is located at the north intersection of River Road and Witherspoon Street, across from Bats Louisville Stadium. Wristband replacement is subject to verification of the Front Gate order. If you need a replacement, please bring your wristband, order confirmation and government-issued ID to the Box Office. Please note there is a $20 wristband replacement fee. Can’t make it? If something comes up and you can’t attend the festival, fans can resell tickets through the official, Verified Ticket Exchange. BOX OFFICE LOCATION AND HOURS The Forecastle Box Office is located at the corner of River St and Witherspoon across from the Louisville Bats Stadium near the festival entrance. A valid government-issued photo ID must be present in order to pick up your tickets. GETTING TO FORECASTLE Fans are encouraged to use eco-friendly transportation to get to Waterfront Park, including public transit, walking and bicycles. See below for the overview of options. PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION: Use of public transportation, rideshare and bikes are encouraged. For more information about public transit in Louisville, visit RideTARC.org PARKING: There are many city owned paid lots available around the park and downtown for parking, rideshare and public transit are highly encouraged. BIKING: Forecastle Festival offers a free bike valet, located near the box office at the corner of River Road and Witherspoon Street, across from Bats Stadium. UBER: Go to Forecastle with Uber. Request a ride to and from the designated Uber zone on Witherspoon Rd at the corner of N Preston St and River Rd for a smooth pick-up and drop-off experience. The designated area for ride share pickup and drop-off is located in the west bound lane at the northeast corner of Witherspoon and River Road across from the Louisville Bats stadium. Use the festival’s address and your ride share driver will follow applicable signage to get you to the drop-off point! LODGING: Official Forecastle hotel rates are available here. AROUND THE PARK WATER AND COOLING STATIONS: Stay hydrated! Water stations can be found at nine locations throughout the park. Check the site map and on-site signage for the closest fill-up. LOCKERS & MOBILE CHARGING: Forecastle will offer a limited number of lockers on site which include access to mobile charging. All items must be removed daily. To book a locker in advance visit ForecastleFest.com GUEST SERVICES & ACCESSIBILITY CENTER: Visit a Guest Services booth or staff member for all event related questions while on site. The main Guest Services booth is located in the Kentucky Landing near the West Entrance. AFTER THE FESTIVAL: There will be a Lost & Found matched item pickup on Monday, May 30th from 10AM –2PM located in the Manhattan Chambers Room at Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Louisville Downtown, 100 E Jefferson St, Louisville, KY 40202. If you are unable to stop by, go to www.forecastlefest.com/lostfound to search for missing items or to file a claim for lost and found items. FORECASTLE FOUNDATION The festival will again support the 501(c)3 nonprofit The Forecastle Foundation, which works year-round to protect the most critical, highly threatened biodiversity hotspots on earth. As the activism arm of the festival, the foundation will receive $1 from each 1-Day ticket and $3 from each 3-Day ticket sold. Since its inception in 2011, the Forecastle Foundation has contributed more than $700,000 to protect and preserve 51,000 acres of land and 300 miles of waterways globally.
