Part of its new collection, Youer’s “Glass Ceiling” Winter Tunic ($128) is a fun, winter-wonderland-inspired technical layer for the cooler days ahead. The tunic has a lightweight, fast-wicking fabric, with a lightly brushed fleece interior, thumbholes, and cowl neck hood — plus, a unique two-toned design. Pairs best with Youer’s matching Glass Ceiling Fleece Pants.

In a collaboration with Olympic surfer Kanoa Igarashi, G-SHOCK has brought surf-specific features into its latest watch. The G-SHOCK GBX-100KI ($200) is Bluetooth-pairable and has customizable functions such as a tide graph, sunset/sunrise times, moon data, and more. It also has some personal touches, like a graphic of Igarashi riding a massive wave on the glass and bezel.

Another new addition for its outerwear lineup is this GORE-TEX ski jacket and bib kit from Backcountry. The Notchtop GORE-TEX Jacket ($425) and Bib ($375) are designed to be lightweight and super stretchy, with 3L GORE-TEX lightweight waterproofing, zippered underarm vents, full-length zippered leg vents, integrated wrist gaiters, an adjustable hem, and KEVLAR kick patches on the cuffs of the bib.

Kitsbow’s new Haskell pant ($219) is sure to be a hot item — it’s durable, great for riding, but also looks good. The fit is slack to leave room for a chamois, the ankles are tapered, and there are six pockets. The pants also have lots of reflective detailing. U.S. brand Kitsbow makes them in-house, which means they can offer 59 different size options in three colors. The pants were available for preorder starting yesterday.

MEC’s throwback fleece pullover may look ordinary, but it does boast some cool tech. The modern-revived MEC ’82 Polar Fleece ($150) uses Polartec Thermal Pro shearling fleece for higher-performance warmth, with the look of cozy wool. It also has raglan sleeves, a high collar, elastic hem and cuffs, and a half-length front zipper. And who could forget — a kangaroo pocket.

For just $60 (and up), you can get a food prep knife built for the outdoors. nCamp’s latest crowdfunding campaign is for its Food Prep Knife series, designed to serve backpackers, chefs, and grill masters everywhere. The knives have an ergonomic wooden handle, flush-mounted fasteners, and liner locks — ’cause these kitchen knives fold! Choose from a chef’s knife, santoku knife, or a set.

Featuring remastered artwork from Osprey’s early ’90s catalogs, this full-zip Snow Hoodie ($60) is part of the brand’s Heritage collection. This cozy hoodie has a recycled polyester and cotton blend, a fleece interior, a split kangaroo pocket, and ribbed cuffs. It comes in two snowy, wintry colors.

One of adidas’ new-this-season rain jackets is meant to be a super-technical shell, but with a hyper-elevated design. The MYSHELTER Jacket ($400) is a 3L GORE-TEX Active Shell membrane, with things like zippered underarm vents, zippered pockets, and a helmet-compatible hood. And adidas topped it off with bright reflective details on the cuffs and its signature three-stripe decal on the back.

If you are someone who is always hanging around the campfire or camp grill, and likes to be part of the cooking action, consider an accessory like this. The TENGU Flame-Resistant Apron ($110) is made from a fire-resistant, 13-ounce-weight Japanese denim, and is covered with other useful features like five pockets, loops for grill tools, adjustable straps, and even a drink holder.

No, it’s not April Fool’s. CLIF BAR is pivoting from its job creating ever-pleasing human snacks to plant-based pet snacks, too. There aren’t a lot of details yet, but the line will be plant-based and boast different tasty treats for dogs of various sizes and breeds. Look for the CLIF PET line in January 2022.
