LACEY, NJ — The first annual "Lions Tigers and Beers" festival is coming to Popcorn Park next month.

The festival is hosted by Associated Humane Societies & Popcorn Park Animal Refuge in Forked River. Participants can enjoy local beer, wine, cocktails and mocktails, food vendors, live entertainment and learn about the more than 200 rescued wild animals in Popcorn Park's care, according to a release.

"We hope you will join us for an afternoon of seeing the lifesaving work we provide to the animals at Popcorn Park while enjoying some pilsner with the peacocks, lager with the lions or a Belgian with the bears", said Jerry Rosenthal, CEO. "We are grateful to our presenting sponsor, Alpaca Finance, for their financial support of this event."

Numerous breweries will be present at the festival, including Ross Brewing, Riverhorse Brewing, Vinyl Brewing, Cape May Brewing, The Seed Brew Project and Berlin Brewing.

Food trucks will also be available, with Mexiboys, Wandering Streets, Dags Dippers and Jasmine's Nadas. Vegan and vegetarian options will also be available.

Patrons will receive a complimentary five ounce collectible tasting glass, a wrist band and entry to the Park. Attendees must be 21 or older.

The event will run from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. on June 11. You can find more information or register online here.
