I am not the world’s best cook. My expertise starts and ends with macaroni and cheese and frozen taquitos, and it’s safe to say my mom worries about me.

But that all changed when I tried Blue Apron’s meal kits. Well, it kind of changed.

After ordering a range of classic meal kits, I received fresh ingredients right to my doorstep. Everything I needed to make an array of quality meals was at my fingertips.

And guess what? I grabbed my pots and pans and cooked up tasty lunches and dinners (are you proud, mom?).

I was on a roll, but sooner than later, I was reaching in the freezer to discover what microwavable meal I could heat up next. I had resorted to my old ways. But it wasn’t completely my fault — it was my schedule’s. I just didn’t have the time to be cooking full meals every day.

That was until Blue Apron launched their “Heat & Eat” meals — and it changed the game.

Blue Apron has long been known for their high quality personalized meal kits, but they took innovation once step further with their “Heat & Eat” meals.

Each “Heat & Eat” meal is already prepared and ready. All you have to do is pop it in the microwave for five minutes or less.

Best of all, they don’t sacrifice any Blue Apron flavors. How do I know? Because I put them to the test.

I decided to test the Four Cheese Enchilada and the Miso Sesame Chicken “Heat & Eat” meals.

All I had to do was add them to my Blue Apron meal plan and eagerly await my order.

Once they arrived, I opened up the individually packaged meals, popped them in the microwave for five minutes each and allowed them to cool. Then, I ensured they were both cooked thoroughly and served them up.

To say that each meal was delicious would be an understatement.

The “Heat & Eat” meals tasted as if I had spent hours in the kitchen, when in reality, I took all but 10 minutes (five minutes per meal). I was beyond impressed.

I would undoubtedly order Blue Apron’s “Heat & Eat” meals again.

They fit perfectly into my busy schedule, and offer up a nutritious, substantial meal — even for those that can’t cook (like me).

I can even see these meals working great for quick back-to-school lunches and office grab-and-gos, as they are travel-friendly.

If you want to see what all of the hype is about, head over to Blue Apron and add some delicious ready-made meals to your meal plan.
